Dig a grave to dig out a ghost - Chapter 2 Part two

Chapter 2: Ghost Encounter (2)

"Dangdang... Dangdang…"

Nothing could be seen clearly in the rain.

Lin Yan suddenly jumped up and leaned against the computer desk, staring at the window. Here...here the fucking twelfth floor, what is knocking on the window?

"Dangdang, Dangdang, Dangdang…"

The sound of knocking was getting louder and louder as if there someone was waiting impatiently outside.

Materialists can't bear immediate losses, and creatures have the instinct to avoid danger. The atmosphere was so strange that Lin Yan took out the car key from his pocket and rushed out of the house without looking back.

The rain was getting heavier and heavier, and the third ring road, which had been terribly crowded at all times, was empty. There was only heavy rain curtains and heavy fog. Lin Yan turned on the double flashing lights and drives all the way forward, intending to find a lively spot. Overnight, his normal life was in chaos, his mobile phone had no signal, and his radio station had no signal. It seemed that he was isolated in a corner of the world and driving to the road of no return.

It seems....that I've been driving for more than an hour. How can I still circling the bridge?

Lin Yan looked at the green dial, and he found that he almost used up all the oil. However, he had not found the exit of the bridge yet. He is a native, but he still got trapped in the city that he had lived in for 22 years. It was ridiculous to saying that.

The low-beam wasn't illuminate the way clearly. Under the warm yellow light, only the dense rain lines could be seen falling down and washing his windshield one after another. There was a wide road in front of him, turning one after another, but there was no people, no cars, and even the sound of the electronic dog reporting how many kilometers away from the speedometer couldn't be heard. Lin Yan kept his eyes on the front, of fearing he would miss any cross point.

After nearly three hours on the elevated highway, Lin Yan finally began to panic after passing IKEA's billboard for few times.

A deep word came into his mind.

When the ghost hit the wall, he kept going in circles.

The indicator of the fuel gauge was already close to zero. Lin Yan slowed down the car speed. He thought he couldn’t drive forward. Obviously, there was a force preventing him. What he should do better than go on blindly is to sort out his ideas and find a solution. He didn't dare to predict what would happen when the fuel ran out.

Lin Yan stopped the car on the roadside and left only two warning lights. Then he sat in the car and began to recall what happened at night.

Power outages, sudden strikes on computers, strange reflections.

The first thought that comes to his mind was that someone was playing a prank on him, but he denied it immediately. If there was a problem with his computer, he could still suspect the unreliable code maker Yin Zhou, but knocking on the window, preventing him from getting off the viaduct, and blocking his mobile phone and radio signals were definitely not that guy's style, and with such a great effort just to scare his friend. Lin Yan searched his brains for half a day and didn't find a candidate.

He is a very good person himself and he has been studying steadily from elementary school to University. Apart from skipping classes to playing warcraft, passing papers for his classmates in the exams, he has no records and he has never played tricks on girls, not to mention that the people in his circle of friends are just as virtuous as him. Even if there was someone really wanted to rectify someone unexpectedly, by no means it shouldn't be Lin Yan.

On April fool's day, even when he ate toothpaste and biscuits, he always thought of it as Mint. If he wanted to punish him, he has to report his strategic policy. Only in this way could Lin Yan understand what's going on. When he encounters this kind of humor and incompetence system, he is often stunned, and he has already vomited three liters of blood.

Lin Yan rubbed his temples and thought hard if there was someone was threatening him in an inexplicable way, or declaring war.

On the first day of the Wushen month, Lin Yan opened his mobile phone's calendar and entered the date.  The small square immediately jumped to the corresponding lunar calendar. On 15 July, the Mid-Year Festival, and the gate of death is wide open.

Lin Yan thought that something was wrong.

When I looked up again, something that didn't appear before suddenly appeared not far from the car.

A figure stood on the side of the road. The rain poured down, but the person seemed not to notice it. He didn't take an umbrella or wear a raincoat, and quietly stood under the dim yellow street lamp with his head down. The fog all over the place made Lin Yan unable to see his appearance clearly. He only felt that he was tall and was wearing strange and large clothes. Lin Yan wondered if he should give him a ride. Although he couldn't protect himself now, he could still provide shelter from the rain.

Elevated, rainy night, strange passers-by, the inappropriate picture was somewhat gloomy, but Lin Yan read a little sadness from it.

That figure gives people a feeling of...loneliness as if he was waiting for an agreement that would never come.

Lin Yan started the car again after checking the door lock of the car, and drive along the road slowly. He thought that after being trapped for such a long time, he might as well find a useful target to test whether he could break out of this endless cycle.

At less than ten meters away from that person Lin Yin suddenly froze and had his ears knocked heavily like a Gong. He finally realized that there was something wrong with that person. There was no shadow to that person.

The streetlamp was obliquely casting on him, but it was empty at his feet. The only place where he should have dragged a long shadow, there was the shape of streetlamps reflected in the puddle, which was shaken by the continuously falling rain, and was broken and integrated.

Lin Yan almost instantly understood what he had encountered.

Cold sweat kept coming out. His hands were soggy that he couldn't hold the steering wheel, and he even felt bitter in his mouth. He slammed out the accelerator with a fierce kick. He didn't care how long the fuel tank would last, and he didn't care whether there was a road ahead. He only knew to run forward subconsciously.

At speed, 40, 60, 80, 90…

Suddenly a car rushed out, Lin Yan was startled and stunned. Instinctively, he stepped on the brakes and hit the steering wheel to the left!

"squeak__" after the extremely sharp and piercing sound, the front of Lin Yan's A4 brushed away from the bottom of the Buick's business car by just a few centimeters. Then Lin Yan drove into the Bushes, the car body was stuck and shaken for a while, and the windscreens were covered with holly leaves.

The car was almost destroyed.

Lin Yan lay on the steering wheel, panting heavily, and his whole body was cold.

Boom Boom Boom." There was a sharp knock on the window."

Lin Yan bounced nervously and stared at the glass in horror. When he saw the man's face, he breathed a sigh of relief and then rolled down the window.

"Damn it! How the hell do you drive? If you don't want to live, just say it. I'll beat you to death!"

A string of series curses to his ancestors gave Lin Yan a feeling of joy that he was back in the world, and he was almost ready to rush out and hug the Buick driver.

"No... I'm sorry. I've been on the elevated highway for three hours. I was just looking for the road. I'm a little excited. Sorry, I'm sorry."

Lin Yan didn't pay attention to what he said and he smiled bitterly when he realized that the driver really treated him as an idiot this time.

The Buick driver stared at him for a while and suddenly stopped swearing. He muttered, "No wonder you look like a ghost." Then he took out a box of cigarettes from his pocket and handed it to Lin Yan. "You met something dirty? You can smoke a cigarette to calm yourself down. In the future, when you go out, you should bring some protective equipment. We are often experienced in driving at night. "

When Lin Yan got out of the car, the driver lit a cigarette for Lin Yan, and they stood side by side. Strange to say, cars are coming and going on the road, shops and high-rise buildings on both sides of the street are all on, where there is a bit of fog and dark shadow, even the rain has already stopped.

Lin Yan took a puff of the cigarette and calmed down, and said in amazement: "Brother have we met before?"

The driver smiled indifferently: "Often, especially in places with many accidents, the more evil an accident occurs, the more evil it will be."

Lin Yan nodded. With such a disturbance, he did not know how much his materialistic worldview had been eroded.

After seeing off the driver, Lin Yan touched the sweat on his forehead and took out his mobile phone to check the time. The screen showed two messages and three missed calls, one every half an hour on average since two hours ago. Lin Yan turned on the settings option, the phone was not muted, and the volume was not loud, but it was enough to hear it. It seemed that the signal was indeed blocked along the way just now.

First message: "Will you come out for a drink? The old place."

Second message: "what are you doing? Answer the phone!"

Both the sender and the caller was Yin Zhou.
